报告摘要：

In his presentation, he will discuss some major developments in medical physics research. Specifically, he will discuss Radiomics/deep learning applications in cancer detection, characterization and radiation therapy simulation, treatment planning, verification, and assessment. He will also address how medical physics field is transforming and how physicists should be prepared for future research and development.

报告人简介：

殷芳芳，杜克大学放射肿瘤学古斯塔沃·蒙塔纳（Gustavo S. Montana）讲席教授，杜克大学放射肿瘤系放射物理学主任，昆山杜克大学医学物理教授。他同时也是美国医学物理学家协会（AAPM）会士以及美国放射肿瘤学会（ASTRO）会士。
